We called on our global supply partners and our dedicated IT specialist team to meet the needs of a client in Asia, who needed to ship a batch of IT equipment.

The client had a request to ship a batch of essential IT equipment from Busan in South Korea to Singapore with numerous touch points and client meetings. The brief was to arrange packing and shipping of delicate IT hardware between data centres, and facilitate numerous transport methods, while maintaining a constant flow of communication between all relevant stakeholders. With the 48-hour logistics deadline, time was of the essence.

Wheels We Deliver engaged with our South Korean partner to meet the client on a Saturday in a Data Center in  Busan, South Korea, and quickly started implementing our logistics solution, which included the following steps:

• Premium packaging process to protect IT devices included in the shipment.
• Supplementary request to pick up and package a further batch of IT equipment in Seoul, more than 300km away, and consolidate with the Busan freight
• All customs, commercial invoice and additional paperwork completed by our experienced team and forwarded to the relevant parties to ensure prompt customs clearance on arrival in Singapore
