Cargo Bike

Cargo Bike

We operate Dublin’s largest fleet of cargo bikes — for no-fuss, eco-friendly navigation through our busy city streets. After launching our cargo bike service in 2013, we have dramatically reduced our carbon footprint. And with congestion an ongoing issue in the capital, it’s an efficient and carbon neutral alternative to cars and vans.

EV Bike

Wheels We Deliver are currently investing €250,000 to expand our electric vehicle (EV) fleet beginning with the introduction of this country’s first ever EV courier motorbike in 2022. Over the coming years the business will add more electric motorbikes, cargo bikes, and midi-vans to its fleet, expanding the range of transport options available to clients.

“Our ambition is to achieve a 66% reduction in carbon emissions by 2030, from our 2020 baseline,”

Our Managing Director Bernie Kinsella spoke with the Business Post about the introduction of the country’s first ever EV courier motorbike into our electric vehicle fleet.

EV Van

The SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland) have selected Wheels We Deliver to take part in the pilot scheme run by the SEAI on behalf of Zero Emission Vehicles Ireland to give businesses an opportunity to trial a battery electric vehicle (BEV) for a maximum of one year.

It is an exciting opportunity for both Wheels We Deliver and the SEAI to gain valuable insights into the performance and potential benefits of electric vehicles. By participating in the pilot scheme, Wheels We Deliver will be able to assess the suitability of new model EV Vans for its fleet and evaluate the impact on its operations, costs, and emissions.

This EV van trial will also fundamentally inform the Wheels We Deliver EV investment strategy for the coming months and years.
